Neil holds degrees from the University of Alabama and Auburn University. He has worked in the private sector and

for the U.S. Air Force (civilian), U.S. Forest Service, and U. S. Bureau of Land Management. He currently splits time between California and Alabama. All the Livelong Day is his second book. He has also written numerous songs.
